  • Synchronisation: timing and token usedesigner
    CONTEXT
Players asked how often Synchronisation can be used, what activates it, and whether coffee or reroll tokens may be applied to the Traffic die.
    RULING
"1) Once per round 2) One die placed on any flaps and one die placed on any landing gear in the same round 3) yes when it is used due to synchronisation. No in trafic use. 4) yes when it is used due to synchronisation. No in trafic use." Synchronisation is used once per round, activated by placing one die on any flaps space and one die on any landing gear space in the same round. Coffee and reroll tokens may modify the Traffic die only when it is rolled through Synchronisation — never during normal traffic use.

  • Coffee on the Synchronisation black diedesigner
    RULING
"YES you can use coffee on the black die of Synchronisation. But: be careful, the die is from 2 to 5, so you can only move on that range of values (no 1 no 6). And you can not use coffee on Traffic black die."

  • Minimum brake deployment and low/negative-speed landingsdesigner
    RULING
At least one level of the brakes must always be deployed. Once it is, the plane can land at 0 or negative total speed (−1, 0, 1, and 2 are all valid). There is no rule that flying too slow causes a crash. Verbatim: "You need to deploy at least one level of your breaks. You can land with 0 or negative speed IF you deployed at least one level," and "even if the total speed is 0 or less, at least one level of the brakes must be activated."

  • Final round: brakes are checked when the second engine die is placeddesigner
    RULING
"In the final round we compare the speed to the brakes immediatly when the second engine die is played. Not at the end of the round. So pushing the brakes after the 2 engine dice is useless."

  • Coffee modifications are made openly, not hiddendesigner
    CONTEXT
Players asked whether a coffee value change is concealed from the other pilot.
    RULING
Coffee modifications are public. You place the die, then change its value with coffee in the open; nothing about the action is hidden. The only die manipulation done behind the screen is rerolling. Corroborated by designer Michael Andersch: "There's nothing hidden in this action... Place the die and leave it, or change its value."

  • Reroll tokens: you may hold more than onepublisher
    RULING
"You can have multiple tokens available at once as it is a supply, it is mentionned at page 4." Reroll tokens accumulate in your supply, so more than one can be available at the same time. An earlier claim (from a convention demo) that only one may be held at a time is incorrect.

Q&A2
  • The final round still requires an Axis diecommunity high-engagement
    QUESTION
In the last round, must you still place a die on the Axis, or can the Axis be skipped once the engine dice resolve the landing?
    ANSWER
You must still place a die on the Axis. The Landing Procedure applies every round, including the last — each player must place one die on the Axis. The Axis requirement cannot be ignored in the final round.

  • Speed can never exactly equal the brake valuecommunity high-engagement
    QUESTION
The rulebook says speed must be less than the brake value for a successful landing — can the speed instead be exactly equal to the brake value?
    ANSWER
No. The brake marker always sits between numbers (to the left or right of a value), never on one, so the engine-dice sum can never be exactly equal to the brake value. The sum must be strictly to the left of (less than) the brake marker.

Not an AI guessing rules. A curated archive.

Every answer Mira gives is grounded in an official rulebook — not in what a language model thinks the rules probably say. Our team reads, structures, and curates each game's rulebook before Mira can answer a single question about it.
