A20 Crane and C22 Architectural Statics card interactionpublisher
- CONTEXT
- Players were uncertain whether A20 Crane's "stored material" discount requires all materials to already be in storage, and whether Crane and Architectural Statics can combine. Note: in the English rules, "raw material" = a resource on the continent (German: *Rohstoff*); "stored material" = a resource in your storage (German: *Gut*).
- RULING
- "A20 Crane: The costs for settlements are reduced by 1 stored material. Example: Instead of paying 1 wood and 1 Stone, you pay 1 wood only. C22 Architectural Statics: After paying for a settlement, return 1 of the stored materials you spent to your storage. Example: You pay 1 wood and 1 stone for your settlement, then you return 1 stone to your storage. This means that the effects of these two cards can actually work together."
Calendar card gives 2 actions on last turn, not 3designer
- CONTEXT
- Players asked whether Calendar grants a third additional action on top of the normal activate-or-reset choice on the last turn of each era.
- RULING
- "It shouldn't say instead because your turn is either activate a module or reset. Calendar just allows you to do both." Calendar gives you exactly 2 actions on your last turn of each era (activate a module AND reset, in any order) — not a third action beyond those two.
Q&A2
Migration within the same territory is not possibledesigner
- QUESTION
- Can a tribe migrate from the wilderness back to an encampment within the same territory in a single migration action?
- ANSWER
- No. A single migration cannot move a tribe to the same territory it started in. Rulebook p.15 states this explicitly.
Success Points when procreating into a Fire Encampmentdesigner
- QUESTION
- Do you score Success Points when using Procreation to place a tribe directly into a Fire Encampment?
- ANSWER
- Yes. Procreation follows the same rules as Migration for this purpose; the rulebook (p.16) confirms that Success Points are awarded when a tribe is successfully placed into a Fire Encampment via Procreation.
EDGE CASES2
Official tutorial video wrong about Stage 4/5 flip orderdesigner
- SITUATION
- The official BGG tutorial video (produced by Paul Grogan, checked by the publisher) stated that Stage 4 must be flipped to active before Stage 5 can be flipped.
- RULING
- "It is an error." There is no rule requiring Stage 4 to be completed before Stage 5. Stage tiles can be flipped in any order.
AUTHOR: PaulGrogan (Paul Grogan, designer)SOURCE: boardgamegeek.com(17 replies, 5 thumbs)DATE: 2024-11-26Two-step migration can return a tribe to its starting territorydesigner
- SITUATION
- When the migration module is upgraded to 2 steps, a player moves their tribe out of its starting territory in the first step and then back in the second step, ending in the territory it began.
- RULING
- This is permitted. The rule that migration within the same territory is not possible (Q1) applies to a single step only; a two-step migration that genuinely visits another territory before returning is allowed.

HOW MIRA KNOWS

Not an AI guessing rules. A curated archive.
Every answer Mira gives is grounded in an official rulebook — not in what a language model thinks the rules probably say. Our team reads, structures, and curates each game's rulebook before Mira can answer a single question about it.

An opponent's settlement blocks your road network — your road cannot be built through or past an occupied intersection.

At the end of each round, the player with the most of the goal trait scores points equal to their amount; the player with the second most scores fewer.
