Q&A3
  • Crazy camel landing on occupied space goes on topcommunity high-engagement
    QUESTION
When a crazy camel moves onto a space occupied by other camels, does it land on top of the stack or below it?
    ANSWER
On top. Crazy camels follow the same camel-unit rule as all other camels: any camel unit that ends its movement on a space with another camel unit lands on top of that stack (rulebook p.3 and p.4: "If a camel unit ends its movement on a space where there is another camel unit, it jumps on top of that other unit"). No special exception exists for crazy camels. Some groups house-rule placing crazy camels at the bottom, but that is not the official rule.

  • Crazy camel ending the game — the leading racing camel still winscommunity high-engagement
    QUESTION
When a crazy camel crosses the finish line and ends the game, is there still an overall winner and loser, and do all bets resolve normally?
    ANSWER
Yes. The racing camel currently in the lead is the overall winner. The rulebook defines the overall winner as the camel "in the lead at the end of the game" (section "Bet on the overall winner or overall loser"), not "the camel that crossed the finish line." All overall-winner and overall-loser bets resolve normally.

  • Spectator tiles return to owners at the end of every legcommunity high-engagement
    QUESTION
Are spectator tiles removed from the board at the end of each leg, or do they stay in place?
    ANSWER
Spectator tiles are returned to their owners at the end of every leg (rulebook p.5, "End of a Leg," third bullet: "returning all spectator tiles from the race track to their owners"). Tiles do not persist between legs. During a leg, a player may spend their turn action to move their already-placed tile to a different space or flip it to the other side.

At the end of each round, the player with the most of the goal trait scores points equal to their amount; the player with the second most scores fewer.
